Applications are welcome for April, September and January intakes for 2 and 3 year-olds. Please see our Admission Arrangements page or contact the school for further information and application forms.

We have been providing funded places for eligible 2 year-old children for years - we are now able to offer limited places for parents who wish to pay for 2 year-old session. Please contact the school office for further information.

It is so important that parents inform us when their child is going to be off school and with the current Coronavirus situation, it is even more so. Parents can phone or email the school to inform of any absences and the reasons. Thank you for your support.

School is open for children and staff. Our visitors to school are very limited and restricted and are only for essential works. If you need to contact the school, please call or email.

School will be closed on Friday 2nd April for the Easter Holidays and will reopen on Monday 19th April.

The children have been learning all about Spring. They have been having a lot of fun in their Garden Centre, planting seeds in the garden, learning new songs and rhymes, reading stories about Spring and minibeasts, doing lots of flowery and insect crafts and trying lots of seasonal fruit and vegetables.

The Phoenix Enterprise Centre in Cleator Moor host The Food Pantry food bank for those in need of support.

Many people across the country marked Tuesday 23rd March by reflecting on the past year and remembering the thousands of people who have died during the crisis. At Cleator Moor Nursery School we marked the Covid Day of Reflection with each child making a yellow flower to think about the people who are special to them. We thought about people who have been poorly and we waved our flowers for all the NHS staff and keyworkers who looked after us during lockdown and continue to do so today.
