Mrs Lisa Wilson
Headteacher
In 2011, Mrs Wilson joined Cleator Moor Nursery School staffing team as the Nursery Teacher and has over 21 years’ experience in Teaching. Mrs Wilson was appointed as Headteacher in September 2016 and is the School's SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Mrs Beverley Prescott
Nursery Teacher
Mrs Prescott joined the Nursery in 2016 and is responsible for planning and delivering the curriculum in the Nursery Class, has keyworker responsibility, is joint-lead for Phonics, leads daily Circle Time, is the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, carries out assessments and moderation on all pupils. As well as this, Mrs Prescott is the staff representative on Cleator Moor Nursery School’s Governing Body.
Mrs Patricia Blair
Senior Teaching Assistant
Mrs Blair has worked at Cleator Moor Nursery School full-time since 1995. Mrs Blair leads ‘Soundtime’ sessions in the Nursery Class to further develop the children’s Listening and Attention skills and has keyworker responsibility. Mrs Blair has worked and volunteered with children for over 36 years.
Mrs Angela Field
Senior Teaching Assistant
Since 2014, Mrs Field has been a member of the Cleator Moor Nursery School full-time staff. With over 28 years’ experience working with children and young people, Mrs Field is joint-lead for Phonics sessions in the Nursery Class and has keyworker responsibility.
Mrs Lynda Mossop
Senior Teaching Assistant
Mrs Mossop has over 12 years’ experience of working with children and has been at Cleator Moor Nursery School full-time since 2009. Mrs Mossop has keyworker responsibility and leads the children in cooking and baking sessions to further enhance our curriculum provision, particularly in Mathematics and Communication and Language in our Nursery Class.
Mrs Stella Messenger
Senior Teaching Assistant
Mrs Messenger started working full-time at Cleator Moor Nursery School in 2014. With over 19 years’ experience in working with children and young people, Mrs Messenger is joint-lead in the Rainbow Room, has keyworker responsibility, co-runs our extended care provisions in the afternoons. Mrs Messenger has been designated some safeguarding responsibility in the absence of the Headteacher and Teacher.
Mrs Kayleigh Dunn
Childcare Assistant
Mrs Dunn has over 5 years’ experience providing care for young children. Mrs Dunn joined Cleator Moor Nursery School in 2014 working each morning and giving support to the 2 year-olds in the Rainbow Room. As well as this, Mrs Dunn co-runs the Lunch Club sessions.

Mrs Claire Anson
Clerical Assistant/ Clerk to the Governors
Mrs Anson has worked at Cleator Moor Nursery School since 2009. With over 3 years’ previous administrational experience, Mrs Anson is responsible for the day-to-day running of the School Office, budget monitoring, website maintenance, reception duties and supporting the Nursery’s Governing Body in her role as Clerk to the Governors.
